Can you supply any brand of hardware, or are you tied to specific manufacturers?
We work with a wide range of manufacturers including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Ubiquiti and many others. We’re not tied to any single vendor, which means we recommend the right equipment for your needs and budget – not what gives us the best margin. For some clients, a mix of manufacturers makes sense; for others, standardising on one brand simplifies management. We’ll advise accordingly.
Do you configure equipment before delivery?
Yes – every device is fully configured, tested and ready to use before it reaches you. For new starters, this means they can be productive from the moment they sit down. For replacement devices, we migrate data and settings from the old machine as part of the deployment process.
Can you manage our software licences?
Yes – licence management is part of our managed IT service. We maintain a complete software asset register, track renewal dates and ensure your licences are compliant. We’ll alert you to upcoming renewals in advance and advise on whether your current licensing arrangement still represents good value.
How do you handle end-of-life hardware?
When hardware reaches end of life, we arrange secure data wiping to NIST 800-88 standard and responsible disposal. We can provide a certificate of destruction for GDPR purposes. Devices suitable for refurbishment are passed to appropriate recycling partners.
Can you help us plan a hardware refresh programme?
Yes – hardware refresh planning is something we build into your annual IT review. We track the age and warranty status of all your equipment and model replacement costs over a rolling 3-year period, so you can budget accurately and avoid reactive emergency replacements.
